Relationship Counselling & Psychotherapy
You may be considering counselling for all sorts of reasons – a significant event, a relationship breakdown, the desire to communicate better, or to break unhealthy patterns of behaviour. Your reasons for beginning counselling may not even feel clear at the moment– for many people experiencing a general sense of unhappiness, anxiety or dissatisfaction, counselling is a way to understand the issues they’re facing and where change may be possible.
Whatever the reason, I offer a safe, confidential space for us to explore issues and difficulties together, helping you make sense of your problems, and move forward in a positive way that’s right for you.
Tara Hutton – PG Cert, MBACP
I am an experienced counsellor and relationship therapist and a Registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. In addition to my private practice, I have many years of experience working as a RELATE counsellor for couples and individuals, as well as delivering specialist therapy for anxiety and depression for NHS clients.
I never underestimate how daunting the idea of counselling can be. It’s a very personal experience and it is important for you to get the right counsellor for you. People see me about a wide range of issues, each different and very personal, so I work in a way and at a pace that’s right for each individual or couple.
